Bella
Francine on Day 1 - my lovely Italian.

San Clemente Exterior
Courtyard of the basilica of San Clemente. Like so much of Rome, it's undergoing restoration.

San Clemente Interior
An inside view of San Clemente. Francine has much better pictures. It was pretty darn dark in there, and my camera is bottom-of-the-line.

Lateran Backside
Rear facade of the Patriarchal Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano. (I have no interior shots because they were holding an event inside.)

Lateran Façade
Front (main) façade of San Giovanni. It's really hard to capture the scale of the place. Those are larger-than-life statues of Christ and the apostles up top. Each of the apostles are carrying symbols of their martryrdom. I think that's Saint Simon on the far right, holding a timber saw.

Spagna!
Francine and Cara at Piazza de Spagna, being tourists.

Trevi
The obligatory Trevi fountain picture. I'm the doofy looking one on the left.

Street
A shopfront on a street near the Pantheon. This is Rome. Note the carefully hidden grafitti.

Pantheon Interior
Francine and Cara in the Pantheon. I think they're dancing.

Pantheon Dome
A shot of the oculus of the Pantheon dome. No photo can do it justice.
