Boots still wet, and wind still howling, the long deathmarch through the industrial wastelands surrounding Burgos needs little in the way of narration.<\/p>\n

Suffice to say, it was not the most charming possible introduction to a city.<\/p>\n

The central portion of the old city is beautiful, but very trendy and expensive. The cathedral is beautiful – perhaps the most spectacular architecture yet – but they charge admission.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, we attended Mass with a pilgrim\u00b4s blessing this evening.<\/p>\n

We\u00b4re losing Viola tomorrow, as she will take a rest day (or two) in Burgos. We did, however, meet up with Cliff and Carlos.<\/p>\n
