Rejoice, heavenly powers! Sing, choirs of angels!<\/p>\n

Exult, all creation around God’s throne!<\/p>\n

Jesus Christ, our King, is risen!<\/p>\n

Sound the trumpet of salvation!<\/p>\n

Rejoice, O earth, in shining splendor,<\/p>\n

radiant in the brightness of your King!<\/p>\n

Christ has conquered! Glory fills you!<\/p>\n

Darkness vanishes for ever!<\/p>\n

Rejoice, O Mother Church! Exult in glory!<\/p>\n

The risen Savior shines upon you!<\/p>\n

Let this place resound with joy,<\/p>\n

echoing the mighty song of all God’s people!<\/p>\n

My dearest friends,<\/p>\n

standing with me in this holy light,<\/p>\n

join me in asking God for mercy,<\/p>\n

that he may give his unworthy minister<\/p>\n
