We hope to address that this coming weekend. Since we&#8217;ve already celebrated our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/amateurmonk\/a-feast-on-the-feast\/\" target=\"_blank\">Thanksgiving<\/a>, we plan on getting out and about on this coming four days off.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/camino-preparations-update\/2015-11-25-10-46-41\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3063\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/2015-11-25-10.46.41-225x300.jpg?resize=225%2C300\" alt=\"Passport!\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-3063\" \/><\/a>In other news, my new passport has arrived! Huzzah! <\/p>\n<p><span class=\"wpsdc-drop-cap\">L<\/span>ogistical things still on <em>Ye Olde To Do List<\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Purchase <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldnomads.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">travel insurance<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Purchase bus tickets from Madrid to Pamplona [in January]<\/li>\n<li>Reservations at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.corazonpuro.es\/Enghome.html\" target=\"_blank\">Pensi\u00f3n Coraz\u00f3n Puro<\/a> [in January]<\/li>\n<li>Reservations at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beilari.info\/en\" target=\"_blank\">Beilari<\/a> [in January]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;ve also got to get some new hiking shoes and another pair of hiking pants.<\/p>\n<p>Not to mention, we&#8217;ve got to test our new (lighter) clothes washing system. This is part of my attempt to reduce pack weight. I&#8217;ve got my pack down to about 16 pounds (without water), but I&#8217;d like to shave another pound if I possibly can.
