There’s poetry to the fact that the month dedicated to the Blessed Virgin begins by putting the focus on her husband, and therefore on their family life. Imagine the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph working together, playing together, praying together. There’s our model.<\/p>\n

If you are local, please join us this evening for the Mass of the Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker, celebrated by Rev. Kyle Manglo\u00f1a at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Tacoma<\/a>. Mass will be followed by Solemn Exposition, some time in Eucharistic Adoration, and Solemn Benediction as we continue to pray for Father Wagner.<\/p>\n

O<\/span> Glorious Saint Joseph, <\/em>
\nmodel of all those who are devoted to labor,
\nobtain for me the grace to work conscientiously,
\nputting the call of duty above my natural inclinations,
\nto work with gratitude and joy,
\nin a spirit of penance for the remission of my sins,
\nconsidering it an honor to employ and develop by means of labor
\nthe gifts received from God,
\nto work with order, peace, moderation and patience,
\nwithout ever shrinking from weariness and difficulties,
\nto work above all with purity of intention and detachment from self,
\nhaving always death before my eyes and the account that I must render
\nof time lost, of talents wasted, of good omitted,
\nof vain complacency in success, so fatal to the work of God.<\/p>\n

All for Jesus, all through Mary, all after thine example, O Patriarch, Saint Joseph.
\nSuch shall be my watch-word in life and in death.<\/p>\n
