W<\/span>ell, it’s official<\/a>. The one wrinkle that I’d not seen before is that even though the appointments are effective July 1, the “first weekend of pastoral responsibilities will be July 7-8, 2018”.<\/p>\n

The other interesting thing is the note that a pastoral coordinator is “under the supervision of a priest moderator”. I’m not sure how that works. Is the parish priest also the priest moderator? Based on the definition provided for a parish priest, “to provide priestly ministry in a particular parish in collaboration with the pastor or pastoral coordinator”, it would seem not. But who knows? <\/p>\n
