{"id":10058,"date":"2020-04-16T12:14:47","date_gmt":"2020-04-16T19:14:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/?p=10058"},"modified":"2020-04-16T12:14:54","modified_gmt":"2020-04-16T19:14:54","slug":"camino-photo-of-the-day-welcome-to-la-rioja","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/camino-photo-of-the-day-welcome-to-la-rioja\/","title":{"rendered":"Camino Photo of the Day: Welcome to La Rioja!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"wpsdc-drop-cap\">A<\/span>fter a short bit of highway walking, we leave the Kingdom of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Navarre\" target=\"_blank\">Navarra<\/a> behind and enter the region of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/La_Rioja_(Spain)\" target=\"_blank\">La Rioja<\/a>. Well, sort of. Until the 20th century, La Rioja was actually part of Navarra, and Navarra&#8217;s medieval kings are buried here.
