I met him on my first day, where he was giving honey to everyone he met &#8211; because &#8220;Brazilian bees make the best honey!&#8221; This photo illustrates some important things about Burgos and the Camino. That look on his face is a pretty typical pilgrim expression: exhausted. Note also the name of the restaurant: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lasespuelasdelcid.es\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/www.lasespuelasdelcid.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Las Espuelas del Cid<\/a> &#8220;the spurs of el Cid&#8221;. The place very much had a medieval theme &#8211; you could even get &#8220;medieval&#8221; food if you liked. And if you don&#8217;t know the story of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/El_Cid\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/El_Cid\" target=\"_blank\">Rodrigo D\u00edaz de Vivar<\/a>, as recounted in the medieval epic <em>El Cid<\/em>, go read it now. His tomb is in the cathedral in Burgos.
