A<\/span> rare montage! Just before Hontanas, there’s a tiny shrine to St. Bridget. The question is: which one? Based on the head covering and book, you would think this is St. Bridget of Ireland<\/a> (c.\u2009451 \u2013 525). But based on the inscription that runs around the inside of the dome, where it mentions her Camino, it is more likely to be St. Bridget of Sweden<\/a> (1303 \u2013 1373), as she walked the Camino in 1341. In either case, it’s a lovely little shrine, and a cool respite on a hot morning. Saint Bridgets, all, pray for us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
