B<\/span>efore long, Eamon and I arrived at the town of Villalc\u00e1zar de Sirga. It was a very different route and weather three years later<\/a>, when Francine and I walked here. It was three in the afternoon when we arrived here, and the heat of the day was enough that I zipped off the legs of my hiking pants. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of days I’ve worn shorts as an adult, but this was one of them. We set off in search of liquid refreshment and a place where we could consider our options for the rest of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
