W<\/span>e were out the door before 7:30 on the morning of the fifteenth day of my Camino, having spent the night in the town of Carri\u00f3n de los Condes on the Meseta. Here is the Plaza Pi\u00f1a Merino<\/a>, just after sunrise. We wanted to get an early start, both because we expected the afternoon temperatures to be hot, and because it was 17.5km to the next village, a long expanse of nothing. After yesterday’s long walk, we’re planning on a short day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
