This was once one of the largest and wealthiest Benedictine monasteries in Castilla y Le\u00f3n, and the building itself was the\u00a0&#8220;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/sanzoilo.com\/monastery-of-san-zoilo\/?lang=en\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/sanzoilo.com\/monastery-of-san-zoilo\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">first architectural works of Cluniac Romanesque in the Iberian Peninsula<\/a>&#8220;. Sadly, these days it&#8217;s a hotel. The relics of Saint Zoilus are entombed here.
