As you leave Sahag\u00fan, the Camino crosses the Puente Canto &#8211; the &#8220;singing bridge&#8221; &#8211; over the R\u00edo Cea. The Roman bridge here is long gone, though the current 18th century bridge is built in the Roman style. It was here that we were confronted by this flock, lead by their shepherd and with a pair of sheepdogs. While Eamon and I scooted to the side, Santiago remained in the middle of the bridge, like an island amidst a rising tide of sheep.
