M<\/span>olinaseca straddles the R\u00edo Meruelo, which despite the town’s small population (about 820) appears to split it into two separate communities, or at least neighbourhoods. Certainly, there are two great churches. Here we see Francine crossing the bridge from the side with the Ermita de Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de las Angustias<\/a> towards the side with the Iglesia de San Nicol\u00e1s de Bari<\/a>, which is, incidentally, the side where we hoped to find an albergue and maybe some dinner. I took a very similar (though perhaps better)<\/a> <\/a>photo<\/a> three years later in the rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
