I was fascinated by the images of <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Marina_(santa_de_Hispania)\">Santa Mari\u00f1a<\/a> flanked by the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary. While the architecture of reredos reminded me of my then-parish church of Holy Rosary, the impact of seeing this wood stained (as opposed to being painted white) should not be underestimated, as it beautifully contrasts with the brass and gold of the tabernacle and candlesticks.
