This time, I am walking the route known as the <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Via_Podiensis\" target=\"_blank\">Via Podiensis<\/a> <\/em>from Le Puy-en-Velay all the way to Santiago de Compostela, a distance of nearly a thousand miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a few weeks, Francine will fly to Spain with our friend Becky to begin serving as an <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/innkeepers-apprentices\/\" target=\"_blank\">hospitalera<\/a> for two weeks in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Logro%C3%B1o\" target=\"_blank\">Logro\u00f1o<\/a>, and then she and Becky will walk the <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Portuguese_Way\" target=\"_blank\">Caminho Portugu\u00eas<\/a><\/em> from Porto.
