{"id":1594,"date":"2013-04-28T11:09:27","date_gmt":"2013-04-28T18:09:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/?p=1594"},"modified":"2013-04-28T11:09:27","modified_gmt":"2013-04-28T18:09:27","slug":"o-ceibreiro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/o-ceibreiro\/","title":{"rendered":"O Ceibreiro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"wpsdc-drop-cap\">2<\/span>5 April<\/p>\n<p class=\"drop\">Today was a day of slow, grinding climbs, as we crossed our final mountain pass of the Camino.<\/p>\n<p>The town of O Ceibreiro is more or less at the top, and we arrived at the same time as two busloads of German tourists.<\/p>\n<p>The view was amazing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/20130428-195612.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/20130428-195612.jpg\" alt=\"20130428-195612.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/20130428-195731.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/20130428-195731.jpg\" alt=\"20130428-195731.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The village was the site of a eucharistic miracle in the 14th century, and legend has it that the Holy Grail was hidden here for a time after the Moors took Valencia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/20130428-200003.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/20130428-200003.jpg\" alt=\"20130428-200003.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After another, unexpected climb (easily the toughest short stretch so far &#8211; there was applause when we reached the top &#8211; we ended the day in Fonfria.<\/p>\n<p>There, after three very tough days, we had a dinner party that could not be beat.
