Lunched in Triacastela and convinced him to accompany us to Samos. He was not disappointed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/20130428-2148591.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/20130428-2148591.jpg\" alt=\"20130428-214859.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Galicia seems like home &#8211; almost a faerie-tale country &#8211; and the first view of Samos from the overlooking hill took my breath away. <\/p>\n<p>I toured the monastery with Eamon and Radek. In the evening, we all attended chanted vespers and Mass.
