Dedicated to Saint Roche, this place was a shady oasis on a blisteringly hot day. There were a lovely group of third order Dominicans ministering to the pilgrims here and re-supplying them with water. I drank a lot of water, and I refilled my bottles as well. It was hot enough that I zipped the pant legs off of my hiking pants and slathered my lily white legs with SPF 100.
