I<\/span>nside, the Chapelle Sainte-Madeleine de Monistrol-d’Allier<\/a> was downright chilly – the perfect antidote to the blazing heat outside. There was a fellow there from the same group of third order Dominicans that I saw yesterday at Chapelle Saint-Roch<\/a>. He provided information about the shrine, as well as a much needed cool drink of water. On the far right side, you can see the niche that was the original resting spot of the recumbent statue of\u00a0Saint Mary Magdalene<\/a> that currently resides down in the village church<\/a>. A modern reproduction now rests in the niche. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
