A<\/span>fter I visited the church and the museum, I headed over to the other church in Saugues, the Chapel of the White Penitents<\/a>. While it’s not much on the outside, the inside is another thing entirely. The order of penitents<\/a> here holds annual processions, most particularly in Holy Week, and they store all of the objects used for these in this chapel. I imagine when these things are spread out through a parade, they are something to see. All together at once, though, they’re a little overwhelming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
