A<\/span>fter Belvezet, the Way continued winding down off the Aubrac plateau into cool, green forest lands. I crossed over this rushing mountain stream, where I was tempted to soak my feet. Along the path now there were moss covered tumbledown rough stone walls. I could occasionally smell blackberries. It was all a stark change from the bare, windswept plateau of past days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I split this up into two days, since I wanted to spend some time exploring both Saint-Ch\u00e9ly-d’Aubrac and Saint-C\u00f4me-d’Olt, both of which are on the list of most beautiful villages in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
