A<\/span>s the Camino wound its way down into the valley of the Lot River, I walked with the Italian family I’d had dinner with last night. Luca is a cardiac surgeon, and his wife Selene speaks English with a Midwest accent. Their college-aged daughter Maria is studying hospitality and has nearly perfect English. They are walking with their little white dog Lili, who very much reminds me of Tintin\u2019s dog Snowy.\u00a0Here we see Lili in her natural environment: getting muddy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I split this up into two days, since I wanted to spend some time exploring both Saint-Ch\u00e9ly-d’Aubrac and Saint-C\u00f4me-d’Olt, both of which are on the list of most beautiful villages in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
