Up and up through the forest I went, sometimes on dirt with loose rock, and sometimes just over solid rock \u2013 walking the dragon\u2019s spine. When I finally broke out of the trees at the top, I found myself in a meadow full of wildflowers and heather with a spectacular view of the valley.
