F<\/span>inally, we come to the crypt chapel set aside for the reservation of the Blessed Sacrament. It was not majesty here but intimacy. Every inch of the chapel is decorated \u2013 and I know some might say over-decorated \u2013 to the glory of Christ in the Eucharist. I could feel the presence of Jesus close to me. Great carved and painted panels depicted the Way of the Cross all around me, and the room was lit by stained glass windows, each showing events in the life of Christ. Despite the busyness of the art, the feeling of the place was undeniably that of calm, peace, and beauty. I prayed Vespers in this chapel.
