T<\/span>he woodland path let me into the village of Th\u00e9mines at about 10:30, joining the road right at the entrance to the village.\u00a0Here, I met up with the small group of pilgrims that I had been walking with on and off for several days, including \u00c1vila, Bruno, and Paul. We spent entirely too long at second breakfast, which in my case consisted of an omelette. We didn\u2019t even try to leave the village until after 11:30. I say \u201ctry,\u201d because as we were getting ready to go, Paul obtained the key to the church for us to visit. More on that in the coming days!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
