It rained on a lot of the other days as well. It pretty much rained on us for a month. I love this photo because that solid stone slab of a bridge reminds me of the rock that is Christ, which carries us over all obstacles &#8211; even if the rain does fall on the just and the unjust alike!<\/p>\n<p>During the long wet slog, we got very familiar with the strengths and limitations of our ponchos, our shoes, and each other. I absolutely recommend them, though they are lined and if you&#8217;re not careful they can run a trifle warm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It rained on that second day.
