This is the major religious site, the Iglesia de San Pedro. It holds the remains of the village&#8217;s most illustrious son: Don Francisco Delgado, Archbishop of Burgos. Fun history bit: some say it was he who was responsible for changing the name of the village from <em>P\u00fan <\/em>to <em>Castildelgado<\/em>, while others credit his powerful relative Viscount Gil Delgado.
