W<\/span>e stopped for lunch in the same place at Calzadilla de la Cueza where I had stopped for lunch three years previous. This time it was cold enough that we lunched indoors rather than out. Fun fact: three years ago I forgot my fleece on one of the chairs here and didn’t realize it until we were already an hour down the road. In the pocket of that fleece was the little chicken statuette I had purchased at Santo Domingo de la Calzada. This year, you may remember, I purchased a replacement<\/a>. While we were here, I asked if perchance anybody had found my fleece. Needless to say, after three years the lost and found box had been emptied and donated several times over.<\/p>\n
