It is the home of the Benedictine <a href=\"http:\/\/www.monteirago.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Monasterio de San Salvador del Monte Irago<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/olive-trees-and-lavender\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">happy memory<\/a>. This little church is directly across the street (more of a footpath, really) from Refugio Gaucelmo. There&#8217;s so much to unpack about this &#8211; the Assumption was vital to our entry into the Church, it&#8217;s a (German!) Benedictine community and Francine and I are Benedictine Oblates, and it goes on. Let&#8217;s just say it&#8217;s the perfect spiritual Camino storm.
