It&#8217;s tiny, but for the small population of the village of Ruitel\u00e1n, it&#8217;s almost certainly sufficient. What fascinates me is that the central image on the reredos isn&#8217;t Saint John the Baptist, as one would suspect, but the piet\u00e0.
