V<\/span>entas de Nar\u00f3n is a tiny village, more of a shady resting spot for pilgrims than anything else. There’s a tiny chapel of Saint Mary Magdalene here, and you are not allowed to take photos inside. So here’s a photo of the sign outside. Inside the church, a blind man stamps your pilgrim passport twice – once for the church and once with the seal of the Knights Templar. <\/p>\n

In today’s Gospel reading (for December 7, the Memorial of Saint Ambrose), Jesus restores sight to two blind men, saying: “let it be done for you according to your faith” (Matthew 9:27-31<\/a>).<\/p>\n

In that Templar chapel in Ventas de Nar\u00f3n, there are two blind men as well: the one stamping the passport, and the pilgrim whose passport is stamped. The Lord grants us sight according to our faith.<\/p>\n
