It was about four in the afternoon, with intermittent rain and wind gusts. We were beat from our climb of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Alto del Perd\u00f3n (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/camino-photo-of-the-day-alto-del-perdon\/\" target=\"_blank\">Alto del Perd\u00f3n<\/a> earlier, which I recorded in my journal as &#8220;probably the most physically demanding thing I&#8217;ve ever done&#8221;.
