Although I&#8217;ve never spent the night here, I did eat here during both our 2013 and 2016 Caminos. It&#8217;s a dark, cave-like place, and it&#8217;s wonderful. The food is solid, and the atmosphere can&#8217;t be beat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The image also reminds me that earlier today, while walking on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thomryng.com\/camino\/camino-photo-of-the-day-roads-ancient-and-modern\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Roman road<\/a>, I met Santiago! No, not that one. The Santiago I met was originally from Columbia, but was now working in the restaurant business in New York City. He had the same brand backpack that I did.
