Camino Photo of the Day: Les Arcades

We crossed the street into this plaza/carpark. Both our gîte and a local bar/restaurant faced onto the plaza, with a beautiful view of the château and church across the street. Somehow, I managed to get a photo of neither the gîte nor the bar, but they were in buildings very much like this, just out of frame to the right. We checked into the gîte, showered, did laundry, and then headed to the château, where there was an exhibition of contemporary local artists.

So here’s a map from my book Practical Pilgrimage showing the entirety of the three main variants and larger sub-variants. I walked the GR6 from Figeac to Rocamadour and the GR46 on to Cahors.
