Camino Photo of the Day: Conference on the Bridge
While I was eager to find my gîte, Bruno and Anne discussed how best to move on; we stopped for a brief conference on this bridge. It was now the hottest part of the day, and the city of Cahors was at least two and a half hours away. And Vers was probably the last place to get supplies or a meal before Cahors. Eventually, we all decided to head to the gîte and then find someplace to have a final lunch together. In the background, you can see some of the cliffs that surround this valley.

Maps!
The site I’ve been using for my daily maps, Gronze.com, while otherwise great, unfortunately doesn’t have maps for this variant. So here’s a map from my book Practical Pilgrimage showing the entirety of the three main variants and larger sub-variants. I walked the GR6 from Figeac to Rocamadour and the GR46 on to Cahors.
