Camino Photo of the Day: Sunrise over the River Lot
After a lovely breakfast with Tony, the gîte owner, and Constance, the injured pilgrim from Brazil, I left about 7:40 into a cool, clear morning. The Camino began practically at the gîte’s front door and proceeded on a long bridge over the Lot River. I had left the Lot River Valley days ago in Figeac, and this far downstream the river has become very large, indeed.

Maps!
The site I’ve been using for my daily maps, Gronze.com, while otherwise great, unfortunately doesn’t have maps for this variant. So here’s a map from my book Practical Pilgrimage showing the entirety of the three main variants and larger sub-variants. I walked the GR6 from Figeac to Rocamadour and the GR46 on to Cahors.
