On my map, this cemetery is designated “Cementerio portada S. XIII”. The gate that you see here indeed comes from the thirteenth century, but it wasn’t always a gate. This is one display case from the small museum attached to the sacristy of Navarrete’s Iglesia Nuestra de la Señora Asunción de María. It is amazing, and certainly worth a visit when you are in town.
