Camino Photo of the Day: Outside Looking In

And here’s what it looks like from the outside. This is the west façade of Le Puy Cathedral. It was originally built in the 12th century and reinforced several times over the centuries. In the mid 19th century, the entire structure was disassembled and carefully rebuilt with new interior buttressing and supports.

From here, I walked down into the “downtown” part of the old city and headed towards my next pilgrimage point, which we’ll explore next week.

Just wanted to let you know I still see you and appreciate your contributions to my daily consumption of life and culture.

I’m so fortunate to have found myself seated next to you in Boadilla del Camino.

Joseph, it was certainly the sneaky hand of fate that sat us across from each other that day! I’m grateful we met, and I hope that we will meet again some day.
