Sacred Liturgy Conference 2018

This morning I’m off to the train station to attend the 2018 Sacred Liturgy Conference in Salem, Oregon for the next four days. I last attended in 2016, when it was held at Mount Angel Abbey. On that occasion, I made Archbishop Sample belly-laugh, an achievement I carry with me to this day.

I was unable to attend last year, to my regret. Cardinal Burke was among the featured guests at that time, and I would have loved to have met him.

This year’s conference looks pretty amazing, though, featuring (among many other luminaries) Bishop Athanasius Schneider and Father Cassian Folsom, O.S.B.1, both of whom I’ve mentioned before on this blog.

I’m very much looking forward to the conference. If I have time to blog about it, I certainly will!
