Hirelings

Trorelian Glaive and Selden Bock

Trorelian and Selden are childhood friends from the rustic (and boring) village of Billent in the Lesset River Valley, in the southwestern reaches of the Earldom of Reyifor.

Trorelian’s parents run the village inn, the Temporary Cat, which provides a haven for adventurers. The inn is the local hangout for the shadier elements running the region’s markets in pawning and fencing of found treasures.

Selden’s mother is Lord Billiers’ kitchen servant, and his father serves as master of arms.

Trorelian and Selden are desperate to become adventurers and make their fortunes. They served briefly as hirelings for an adventuring party known as “Droyn’s Patrol”, but they were unsatisfied with constantly being placed in the front of the marching order. When they heard that the nearby village of Has was having trouble with their children being kidnapped in the night, they decided to go and help.

Unfortunately, the two friends arrived in Has to discover that another group “The Dumbarton Oaks Experience” had already solved the mystery and reaped the reward.

So they hired on.

Trorelian Glaive – Human Thief

Charismatic and intelligent, Tro is the brains of the pair. She is often in disguise, and particularly enjoys her fake Elven ears.

She thinks of Selden as the little (!) brother she never had.

Selden Bock – Human Fighter

Selden is a walking wall of a man, strong and seemingly indestructible. He has a face that could scare a dog out of a butcher shop, with a personality that would make it consider vegetarianism.

He is, however, an able hand in a fight. He’s fiercely loyal to family and friends, and he’s known Tro all of their lives.
