Tørhalla was born in the village of Drangavik in the forests on the Øse river in the northern barbarian Kingdom of Tular.
Daughter of landholder with a large, sprawling family. Two loving parents, current status unknown.
At the age of about ten, her village was raided by Vikings and destroyed. She does not know the fate of her parents or her sisters, though she did see her only brother Ulric cut down by a raider.
She was captured and sold into slavery. She spent her youth fighting as (essentially) a gladiator, until she was sold to a Narcerian merchant, who had the idea of employing her as a bodyguard.
She traveled with Forondin the Bald for several years, before he “died in his bath”. Figuring that she was now free, Tørhalla ran off to see the world, and possibly pillage it.
She befriended a hapless Hobbit named Fenkeh, and the rest is history.
Shortly after joining “The Dumbarton Oaks Experience”, she acquired a wolf cub. She named him Ulric after her brother, and the three – barbarian, hobbit, and wolf – are inseparable.
