Torhalla’s Prayer #4

by Tørhalla Ulricsdøttìr

Great Bear, oh wise and wonderful protector, giver of strength and a stout heart. Protect Fenkeh and I, give us honor and strength. I pray too, as always, to you for your protection and strength and for those who of my tribe survived. I hold faith. Faith that I will be among them again… So that I might kill the honorless ones that sold me into slavery. Great Bear, this I still pray. Unceasingly. Every. Single. Day. I keep my sword sharpened to the task.

There are others now, that have joined Fenkeh and I in our adventures. There is one named Nurther Skye. He is a healer of a gentle god’s healing favor. There is a very snooty female half elf named Nynevah, she is also a healer, and is one of Dumbarton and the Great Warrior Kaaaylaan’s friends. I think she is a little crazy as follows a god that I have never heard of before. Nobody seems to have heard of him. His name is … uh… I cannot recall. He is obviously a lesser god but Dumbarton and Kaaaylaaan follow him, too. Or so they say. This god does not seem like he is a horrible one as he favors strength of the bold. Perhaps you know him? Should I fall in battle, Great Father Bear, this god will be healing me as will that of the gentle one. Oh there is also one of us named Ruati, she is quite striking but wanders around getting into trouble. And there is one other one that keeps falling asleep, Thibodaux? I think? She is a dwarf like Nurther. Truth be told, I can’t tell a female dwarf from a male one, save that the female one seems to have a nicer beard.
